I know, it's been raining for weeks and everyone is getting testy and cabin-fever-y -- you should really leave the house and go see some art shows! Arrow to Arrow pal Lori D has a highly-recommended new show, 'Country Club,' up at Reading Frenzy in downtown Portland (above) and A2A artist Jess Hirsch is in a group show called 'It's All in the Details' with some other very talented people at Together Gallery on Alberta (below). You can even check some of that show out online, in case it really is raining too hard for you to leave the house.

Jewelry interlude: how cool are these beaded earrings? These Lila Stuempfig pyramid earrings are based on original Bauhaus textile designs, which explains how amazing they are. Personally I don't like to spend too much $$ on earrings because I invariably lose one, but these are giving me DIY inspiration!

I like my art sexy and my sex arty and I absolutely love this series of Mondrian-singletted wrestlers by rad A2A artist Jess Hirsch. They're the perfect thing to hang in your bathroom, don't you think?

Jess' print for us will be available sometime in mid to late June, so keep your eyes peeled!

Here at Arrow to Arrow we're so excited about our first run of prints that are now available! Here's what we've got:

MOLLY SCHAFER'S "THE INTRUDER"

Molly's totemic ursine watercolor is our gorgeous first print! Check her work out at her website -- she also heads up the Endangered Species Print Project.

MIA CHRISTOPHER'S "AT THE PARK"

We love Mia's saturated colors and playfully triple-jointed people. If you're in San Francisco, Mia's work can be seen at the moment in the 'Mental Mazes' group show at Double Punch.

TOM MOGLU'S "ROASTING LIKE CHESTNUTS"

Tom not only does amazing watercolor work but is gifted with collage and makes a collage a day -- check them out at Keep the Wolves from the Door.

AIDAN KOCH'S "VARIATIONS OF RED"
